Sleeve shortening or lengthening

Excess fabric is removed from the sleeve, typically at the cuff (hem) for basic items, or at the shoulder/crown for tailored jackets or complex garments to maintain original proportions and functional buttonholes. The seam lines are then re-sewn, and the hem is finished for a clean look.
